Ravens' John Simpson: Back to Ravens on three-year deal
Simpson agreed to a three-year, $30 million contract with the Ravens on Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Prior to spending the last two seasons with the Jets, Simpson played for the Ravens in 2023. He has started all 17 regular-season games in each of those last three campaigns and can be penciled in as Baltimore's starting left guard once Simpson's contract becomes official at the start of the new league year Wednesday.

Jets' John Simpson: Nursing back injury
Simpson (back) is expected to be sidelined for "a week or two," Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
It doesn't sound like a long-term issue for the veteran left guard. Simpson signed a two-year deal with the Jets last offseason and started all 17 regular-season games for the team in 2024.

Jets' John Simpson: Past illness
Simpson (illness) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Dolphins.
The 27-year-old popped up on the Jets' injury report Thursday as a non-participant in practice due to an illness. He then returned to practice in a full capacity Friday, suggesting he's moved past his illness in time to play in Sunday's divisional matchup. Expect Simpson to serve as Jets' top left guard in Week 14.
