The Admiral will have to find a way to like the Irish."I was really amazed," Corey told MaxPreps last month. "Over the past year I've really grown to love football. Basketball, I've tried my hand at it, but right now I clearly enjoy football more. With my size in basketball I imagine I'd have to be very skilled. I have more equipment for football. I love that one-on-one matchup with the cornerback. On every play you get a chance. I love that."
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound rising senior picked up an offer from Notre Dame's coaching staff last month shortly after Signing Day and held others from Iowa, Kansas, North Carolina, Wake Forest, and his father's alma mater of Navy. Robinson had seen his stock rise even more over the past few months after impressing observers at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Combine at the beginning of the year. He burst on to the scene last fall, catching 42 passes for 660 yards and 10 touchdowns while leading his team to a 10-3 record.
Robinson becomes the sixth pledge in the past four days for Notre Dame and ninth overall for the class of 2013.
