Saints' Cameron Jordan: Restructures contract for 2023
The Saints and Jordan reworked his contract Monday to save New Orleans $10 million against the cap, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Jordan is now slated to stay put in New Orleans for at least the 2023 campaign after he fell just one tackle short of a new career high this past season. The eight-time Pro Bowler has suited up for at least 16 games in all of his 12 years with the Saints.

Saints' Cameron Jordan: Remains consistent in Year 12
Jordan posted 66 tackles (40 solo), 8.5 sacks, two passes defended and two forced fumbles while playing 16 games in the 2022 season.
Jordan came one tackle short of matching his career high from the 2012 campaign. The 33-year-old defensive end did see a decrease in his playing time for the fourth consecutive season, though he still played at least 67 percent of defensive snaps in all but two of his appearances in 2022. Jordan also tallied at least 7.5 sacks for the 11th season in a row, and he is now the Saints' all-time sack leader with 115.5. The seven-time Pro Bowler will enter the final year of his contract with the team in 2023.

Saints' Cameron Jordan: Hits milestone in dominant outing
Jordan logged five solo tackles, including three sacks, and a forced fumble during Sunday's 20-10 victory versus the Eagles.
Jordan notched his third sack of the game when he cleaned up a muddy pocket to bring down quarterback Gardner Minshew late in the fourth quarter. This also brought the 33-year-old defensive end's career sack total to 115.5 and made him the Saints' new all-time leader in sacks. Jordan hasn't quite lived up to his usual pass-rushing standard this season, logging 8.5 sacks over 15 games. However, he should have a chance to reach double-digit sacks for the seventh time in his 12-year career in next week's regular-season finale against Carolina.
