Seahawks' Evan Brown: Joining Seattle
Brown signed a contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Brown spent last season with the Lions, filling in at center and guard and starting 12 of the 14 games in which he appeared. What role he may play for Seattle remains to be seen, but he could potentially start at either guard spot or at center.

Brown (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
As expected, Brown is now slated to miss his third consecutive contest as a result of the ankle injury he suffered back in Week 11 versus the Giants. With fellow linemen Kayode Awosika (ankle), Halapoulivaati Vaitai (back) and Tommy Kraemer (back) all ruled out this weekend, Logan Stenberg appears in line to start at right guard against Minnesota.
