Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Recovering well from wrist injury
Horn (wrist) is recovering well and could have been available to play if the Panthers made the postseason, Augusta Stone of the Panthers' official site reports.
Horn said Monday that his wrist injury was a "clean break", and although he sustained it in Week 16, the cornerback has made strong progress in his recovery and would have had a shot to return in the playoffs. With Carolina's season over, Horn will now have ample time to rest this offseason and get ready for the 2023 campaign. The 23-year-old finished this season with 53 tackles, seven pass deflections and three interceptions over 13 contests.

Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Placed on IR
Horn (wrist) was placed on injured reserve Monday.
Horn suffered a broken radius bone Week 16 against the Lions, which required surgery. However, there was belief he'd still be able to suit up Week 18 after missing Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers. With the Panthers now eliminated from playoff contention, it appears the team has decided to shut Horn down, as the move to IR will end his season early.

Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Could be back Week 18
Interim head coach Steve Wilks said Wednesday that Horn's wrist surgery went well and he'll be re-evaluated in 10-to-12 days, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
After the second-year pro sustained a broken radius bone in Saturday's win over Detroit, Wilks noted that there's a chance Horn is able to return for Carolina's Week 18 matchup against the Saints, per Person. For the time being, CJ Henderson, Keith Taylor and T.J. Carrie are in line to operate as the Panthers' top cornerback options heading into Sunday's game versus Tampa Bay.
