Browns' Greg Newsome: Full participant Friday
Newsome (concussion) was a full participant in Friday's practice session, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Newsome was limited Thursday after clearing the NFL's COVID-19 return-to-play protocols, but he took a step in the right direction Friday by returning to the practice field as a full participant. Head coach Kevin Stefanski already stated earlier in the week that Newsome cleared the five-step concussion protocol after suffering the head injury prior to landing on the COVID-19 list, so the rookie cornerback should be good to go for Monday's game in Pittsburgh.
