Jets' Breece Hall: Remains absent Thursday
Hall (quadriceps) wasn't present for warmups at the start of Thursday's practice, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
Hall's continued absence isn't surprising after head coach Aaron Glenn recently described the running back as week-to-week. If Hall sits as expected Sunday against the Browns, Braelon Allen would be poised to take on another heavy workload after accounting for all 16 touches by Jets running backs in the Week 4 loss to Chicago.

Jets' Breece Hall: Sits out practice Wednesday
Hall (quadriceps) didn't practice Wednesday.
Hall's continued absence from practice comes as little surprise after head coach Aaron Glenn said prior to Wednesday's session that the running back is week-to-week. With Hall looking likely to miss a second straight game Sunday versus the Browns, Braelon Allen should be in store for another turn as the Jets' lead back.

Jets' Breece Hall: Remains week-to-week
Head coach Aaron Glenn said Wednesday that Hall (quadriceps) remains week-to-week, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
Hall seems certain to miss at least one more game with his quad injury. After Braelon Allen played 32 of 34 offensive snaps in last Sunday's loss to the Bears, he should once again be expected to handle an every-down, bellcow role in Sunday's home date with the Browns. Allen is a locked-in fantasy RB2 with RB1 upside.

Jets' Breece Hall: Ruled out for Sunday's game
Hall (quadriceps) is out for Sunday's game at Chicago, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.
Hall is considered week-to-week and hasn't practiced since making an early exit from last week's loss at Detroit. Braelon Allen will fill in as the Jets' lead back this Sunday, with Isaiah Davis also expected to have a role.

Jets' Breece Hall: Remains sidelined by quad injury
Hall (quadriceps) didn't practice Thursday.
Hall is considered week-to-week with what is now being deemed a quadriceps injury. The injury to his upper leg, which Hall sustained in this past Sunday's loss to the Lions, was previously being described as a thigh injury. Either way, the Jets' starting running back hasn't been able to practice and is unlikely to play against the Bears on Sunday, paving the way for Braelon Allen to take on a larger workload, with change-of-pace work possibly available for Isaiah Davis.

Jets' Breece Hall: Not practicing, deemed week-to-week
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said that Hall (thigh) won't practice Wednesday and confirmed the running back is being viewed as week-to-week, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Though Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Monday that an MRI on the quad injury Hall sustained in Sunday's loss to the Lions wasn't as significant as the Jets had feared, the running back appears likely to miss at least one game. Unless Hall is able to fit in some practice activity Thursday or Friday, the Jets will likely officially rule him out ahead of Sunday's contest in Chicago. Hall's expected absence would clear the way for Braelon Allen to serve as the Jets' lead option on the ground, while Isaiah Davis would likely be in store for added work in a change-of-pace role.
