Wagner (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Wagner worked through a knee injury during Week 14 prep, but he's been cleared to play after going through pregame warmups. The veteran linebacker has accumulated 115 tackles (56 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and three pass defenses (two interceptions) through 12 regular-season games, 11 of which he played every single defensive snap.

Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Questionable after limited session
Wagner (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Vikings, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Wagner was able to log a limited practice session Friday after being a non-participant earlier in the week. The upgrade in participation is a good sign for the veteran's chances of suiting up for Sunday's game. If the middle linebacker is unable to go, 24-year-old Jordan Magee is set to have a larger role in the linebacker corps Sunday.

Wagner opened the Commanders' week of practice with consecutive DNPs after likely sustaining a knee injury in the Week 13 loss to the Broncos. The 35-year-old has been integral part of the Commanders' defense, recording 115 total tackles (fourth-most in the NFL), including 2.0 sacks, and three passes defensed, with two interceptions, across 12 appearances this season. If he's forced to miss his first game of the year in Week 14, expect Jordan Magee to have a larger role in Washington's linebacker corps.

Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Logs another DNP
Wagner (knee) did not practice Thursday.
It's the second straight DNP to begin Week 14 prep for Wagner, so there's some concern about his ability to suit up Sunday against Minnesota. Still, Wagner could improve his outlook for that contest considerably if he's able to return to practice Friday. Wagner has played every defensive snap in all but one of Washington's games to date and has the fourth-most total tackles in the NFL, so it would be a big blow to the Commanders' defense if he ends up having to sit out against the Vikings.

Wagner continues to provide steady output as a tackler, as he's recorded at least seven stops in all 11 of Washington's games so far this year. He has slowed down from a torrid season-opening pace, though -- Wagner has finished with single-digit tackles in five of his past six contests after reaching the double-digit mark in each of the first five weeks of the campaign. Wagner recorded 10 tackles (seven solo) and an interception during Monday's 28-7 loss at Kansas City.
There weren't too many causes for celebration for the Commanders in Week 8, but Wagner certainly provided one when he came down with a pass tipped up by Travis Kelce early in the second quarter and recorded his first interception since 2022.
