Chris Conley: Back to practice squad
Conley reverted to San Francisco's practice squad on Tuesday.

49ers' Chris Conley: Elevated from practice squad
Conley has been elevated to the 49ers' active roster ahead of Monday's matchup with the Vikings,
This marks the second elevation for Conley this season, as he saw nine offensive snaps (12 percent) in Week 3. His addition to the active roster is likely to boost depth at receiver with Deebo Samuel (shoulder) sidelined. Still, the veteran pass catcher is not expected to see much of the field, barring any more injuries ahead of him on the depth chart.

Chris Conley: Reverts to practice squad
Conley reverted to the 49ers' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Conley saw the field for nine of the team's 83 offensive snaps Thursday against the Giants, behind Deebo Samuel (68), Ray-Ray McCloud (38), Ronnie Bell (31) and Jauan Jennings (31). Conley was called up to provide depth at receiver with Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) sidelined. The former will now await his next opportunity to be elevated while looking to impress at practice.

49ers' Chris Conley: Gets elevation from practice squad
San Francisco elevated Conley from its practice squad ahead of Thursday's game versus the Giants, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
With Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) trending towards sitting out in Week 3, the 49ers saw fit to bring Conley up from their practice squad to provide depth at wide receiver. However, given Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey are all healthy, Conley's path to targets is nearly nonexistent.

Chris Conley: Inks practice-squad deal
The 49ers signed Conley (shoulder) to their practice squad Wednesday.
Conley strained the AC joint in his shoulder during the 49ers' preseason finale and didn't make the team's initial 53-man roster. However, the veteran wideout appears to be fine and will serve as a depth option on San Francisco's practice squad to start 2023. The 2015 third-round pick set career highs with Jacksonville in 2019, totaling 47 catches for 775 yards and five scores, but his production has dropped every year since.

Chris Conley: Does not make team
Conley (shoulder) was released by the 49ers on Tuesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Conley was considered day-to-day after straining an AC joint in his shoulder in the 49ers' preseason finale. It is unclear if he is still nursing that injury or recovered from it. He was considered on the roster bubble, but ultimately came up short, so it would not be unlikely if he gets a look on the team's practice squad. The journeyman pass catcher spent time with both the Texans and Titans in 2022.

49ers' Chris Conley: Considered day-to-day
Conley is considered day-to-day with a strained AC joint following Friday's 23-12 preseason loss to the Chargers, Josh Dubow of The Associated Press reports.
Conley was ruled out Friday after sustaining this shoulder injury, leaving his status for San Francisco's season opener Sunday, Aug. 10 up in the air. The 6-foot-3 wideout has been competing for a depth role heading into his age-31 season, so, if this injury winds up lingering over the next couple of weeks, it could impact his chances to make the final 53-man roster. Conley totaled four catches over nine games between Houston and Tennessee last year, and his potential release could open up an opportunity for fellow veterans Willie Snead and Anthony Miller as well as rookie Ronnie Bell.

49ers' Chris Conley: Will not return
Conley has been ruled out of Friday's preseason game after suffering a shoulder injury, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Conley is fighting for a spot on the active roster after signing with San Francisco this offseason. The veteran wideout has also had stints in Kansas City, Jacksonville, Houston and Tennessee throughout his career. If the 30-year-old does make the 49ers' active roster, he'll most likely serve as a depth piece in their wide receiver room. The extent of his injury is currently unknown.

49ers' Chris Conley: Signing with San Francisco
Conley and the 49ers agreed to terms on a one-year deal Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Conley bounced between the Titans' practice squad and active roster last year after spending time with both the Texans and Chiefs earlier in the season, and he caught four of his seven targets for 46 yards in nine games. The 2015 third-round pick now will head to San Francisco for the upcoming campaign and compete for a spot as a depth receiver.

Conley began the season with the Texans and also spent time with the Chiefs. However, the Titans signed him Oct. 25, and he bounced between the team's practice squad and active roster for the rest of the campaign. Conley will hit free agency this offseason and will likely battle for a roster spot as a depth receiver to begin 2023.

Titans' Chris Conley: First catch with Titans
Conley recorded one catch on one target for 27 yards in Sunday's 36-22 loss to Jacksonville.
Conley has bounced around Tennessee's roster for much of the season but was active in the absence of Treylon Burks (concussion). He finished third among the team's receiving corps with 32 offensive snaps, but he still managed only one target. Conley's role will shrink further once Burks is able to return to the field.

Titans' Chris Conley: Joins active roster
Conley was signed to the Titans' 53-man roster Saturday, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports.
Conley earned the promotion with Treylon Burks (concussion) and C.J. Board (ribs) out Sunday against Jacksonville. He'll likely operate as the team's No. 3 or No. 4 wideout behind Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, while Racey McMath also joined the 53-man roster after being activated off IR on Saturday.

Conley signed with the Titans' practice squad Monday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Conley was waived by the team Wednesday, but he's back for another stint in Tennessee. The veteran receiver has played in two games for the Titans this season, seeing one target but failing to haul it in. He'll now work to earn a chance back with the active roster.

Chris Conley: Let go by Tennessee
The Titans waived Conley on Wednesday.
Conley helped fill in for Tennessee's banged-up receiving corps in Weeks 8 and 9, though he was targeted just once over 22 offensive snaps during this span. The 30-year-old was then ruled a healthy scratch ahead of Sunday's win over Denver, and he'll now look to record his first catch of the season elsewhere. Conley caught 22 of his 37 targets for 323 yards and two touchdowns over 16 regular-season games with Houston last year, but he'll likely have to work his way up while on another team's practice squad in 2022.
