Steelers' Adam Thielen: Held to one catch in team debut
Thielen secured his lone target for four yards during Sunday's 27-22 win over the Ravens.
Although Thielen's target share was low, it was encouraging that he was on the field for 48 percent of the team's offensive snaps after being claimed off waivers from the Vikings on Tuesday. The 35-year-old had a disappointing start to the year, securing just eight of 18 targets for 69 yards. While he could see more playing time in Pittsburgh down the stretch, the Steelers' passing game has struggled to find much success under Aaron Rodgers, so Thielen's fantasy upside figures to remain limited.

Steelers' Adam Thielen: Set for Steelers debut
Thielen is active for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.
Thielen was claimed off waivers by the Steelers on Tuesday and will now be active just five days later. Pittsburgh has been without a viable No. 2 receiver behind DK Metcalf all season, so Thielen should be in for a significant role immediately. However, due to limited pass volume and his own declining skill set, that role still isn't likely to lead to fantasy relevance in most formats.

Steelers' Adam Thielen: Scooped up by Pittsburgh
The Steelers claimed Thielen off waivers from the Vikings on Tuesday, Teresa Varley of Pittsburgh's official site reports.
The oldest active receiver in the NFL, the 35-year-old Thielen didn't appear to have much juice left during his second stint in Minnesota earlier this season. He managed just eight receptions for 69 yards on 18 targets in 11 appearances before the Vikings made him a healthy inactive for this past Sunday's loss to Seattle. After requesting and being granted his release, Thielen has caught on with a Steelers team lacking in quality receiver depth beyond No. 1 option DK Metcalf, so he could have an immediate opportunity to push the likes of Calvin Austin, Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek for reps. Though he'll benefit from an upgrade in quarterback play in Pittsburgh with Aaron Rodgers under center, Thielen is still unlikely to see enough of a jump in his production in his new locale to warrant much fantasy interest.

Adam Thielen: Cut by Minnesota
The Vikings waived Thielen on Monday.
Thielen announced on social media Monday that the 2025 season will be his last in the NFL, and he'd like the opportunity to play for a contender over the final five weeks of the season. Acquired from the Panthers ahead of Week 1, Thielen started three of the first four games of the season while Jordan Addison was suspended, but Thielen's role has continued to shrink ever since. After playing just three offensive snaps Week 12, Thielen was a heathy inactive for Sunday's 26-0 loss to the Seahawks. On the year, Thielen has an 8-69-0 line on 18 targets across 11 games. The 35-year-old doesn't appear to have a whole lot left in the tank.

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Healthy scratch Week 13
Thielen (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
The veteran wide receiver's role in the offense has noticeably dipped since the Vikings' Week 6 bye, and Thielen will be an observer for Sunday's road game in Seattle. His absence means Tai Felton and Myles Price will be the rotational wideouts for the Vikings behind Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and Jalen Nailor. Thielen's next opportunity to play is Week 14 against the Commanders on Sunday, Dec. 7, though he's unlikely to play in that game unless there is an injury to the Vikings' wide receiver corps.

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Another drop in loss
Thielen had a drop on his only target in Sunday's loss at Green Bay. He played just three snaps on offense.
Thielen has dropped a pass in consecutive games and has three drops overall this season, according to Pro Football Focus. He's arguably failed to secure more catchable balls than he has receptions (eight) this season. With Minnesota falling out of playoff contention, Thielen may see little playing time the rest of the season.

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Just one reception in loss
Thielen had one reception for six yards on two targets in Sunday's loss to Chicago.
Thielen played just eight of the Vikings' 55 offensive snaps Sunday, operating as Minnesota's No. 4 wide receiver. He had another drop, as he's arguably failed to secure more catchable balls than he has receptions (eight) this season. With Minnesota's struggles in the passing game, there doesn't appear to any upside for Thielen the rest of the season.

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Two catches against Ravens
Thielen caught two of three targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Ravens.
Thielen played just nine of the Vikings' 65 offensive snaps Sunday, operating as Minnesota's No. 4 wide receiver. The veteran wideout's two receptions in the contest were his first grabs since Week 7. Since teammate Jordan Addison returned from his three-game suspension in Week 4, Thielen is averaging roughly 10 snaps per game. With such limited opportunities, the 35-year-old remains far off the fantasy radar heading into Week 11 matchup against the Bears.

Vikings' Adam Thielen: No receptions in loss
Thielen did not have a reception on his only target in Thursday's loss to the Chargers.
Thielen has arguably failed to secure more catchable balls than he has receptions (five) this season, as the ball thrown his way could have been listed as a drop. He played on just 12 of the offense's 49 snaps despite the team falling behind early, which doesn't bode well for his future usage.

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Continued minimal role
Thielen recorded a 10-yard reception on two targets in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Eagles.
Thielen played just eight snaps on offense but was part of the passing attack after failing to get a target last week. The veteran is unlikely to see his role grow unless the Vikings are without one of Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison or Jalen Nailor for a given game.

Vikings' Adam Thielen: No targets in win
Thielen did not have a target or carry in Sunday's win over Cleveland in London. He played on 14 of the offense's 65 snaps.
Thielen has become a distant No. 4 receiver the past two games with the return of Jordan Addison from a suspension. He's unlikely to have a larger role in the offense unless one of the top three receivers is injured.

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Reduced role with Addison back
Thielen had two receptions for 11 yards on two targets in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh in Dublin.
Thielen played on just 12 of the offense's 76 snaps as he moved to a distant No. 4 receiver with the return of Jordan Addison from a three-game suspension. Jalen Nailor played 48 snaps on offense and had four targets (one reception for a touchdown). Thielen is likely to have a small role in the offense unless there's an injury among the top three receivers.
