Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Cleared for action Thursday night
Ramsey (wrist) is active for Thursday's game versus Cleveland, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Ramsey suffered a broken wrist in the Week 3 win over Cincinnati. However, the injury won't keep him off the field, which isn't encouraging news for Cleveland's pass-catchers. The 31-year-old appeared in Pittsburgh's first three games of the 2026 campaign, amassing 17 total tackles (nine solo), one forced fumble and one pass defended.

Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Plans to suit up Thursday
Ramsey (wrist) is expected to play Thursday against the Browns, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
Ramsey is listed as questionable, but the veteran defensive back is planning to suit up after breaking his wrist during Pittsburgh's Week 3 win over the Bengals. Having Ramsey available would help provide some stability to a Steelers secondary that lost Joey Porter (back), who was traded to Dallas on Wednesday.

Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Questionable for Week 4
Ramsey (wrist) is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Browns, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Ramsey was limited in practice all week after suffering the injury last Sunday against the Bengals. Rayshawn Jenkins would become an every-down safety with Daylen Everette and Brandin Echols (concussion) seeing increased reps in the secondary if Ramsey is unable to play.

Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Diagnosed with broken wrist
Ramsey revealed Tuesday that he played through a broken right wrist during Sunday's 30-27 win over the Bengals, Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com reports.
Ramsey broke his right wrist on the Steelers' first defensive series of Sunday's game, but he powered through the injury and finished with eight tackles (four solo) while playing every single defensive snap. Ramsey's status for Thursday's game against the Browns is dependent on whether he can wear a cast that would be protective enough to significantly reduce the risk of aggravation. Brandin Nichols (concussion) and Asante Samuel would both be in line for more defensive snaps if Jalen Ramsey is unable to play in Thursday's AFC North showdown.

Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Now dealing with wrist injury
Ramsey (wrist) was estimated as a limited participant on Monday's practice report, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
According to Brooke, Ramsey had a sling on his right arm Monday. The veteran safety has played all 172 defensive snaps through three games, recording 17 tackles (nine solo) and one pass breakup. If he's unable to play Thursday night against Cleveland, Rayshawn Jenkins would become an every-down player alongside Jaquan Brisker with Daylen Everette likely seeing more snaps as the third cornerback.

Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Jumps into practice
Ramsey (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Ramsey was activated off the active/PUP list in late August prior to cutdown day. The starting slot cornerback for the Steelers missed most of training camp with a knee injury but has regained his health in time for the regular season.

Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Comes off PUP list Monday
Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy said that Ramsey (knee) will be activated from the active/PUP list Monday, Chris Adamski of TribLive.com reports.
Ramsey is set to rejoin the Steelers for practice Monday, though he'll presumably be limited after having been sidelined since sustaining a knee injury during minicamp. Assuming Ramsey avoids any setbacks over the next couple of weeks while ramping up his workload in practices, he should be ready to reprise his role as the Steelers' top slot corner when the team opens its regular-season slate Sunday, Sept. 13 versus the Falcons.
