Steelers' DK Metcalf: One catch in Week 8 win
Metcalf brought in one of six targets for four yards in the Steelers' 27-6 win over the Browns on Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers put up a season low in completions, pass attempts, passing yards and completion percentage Sunday, and Metcalf's production was part of the collateral damage. The veteran wideout did see a team high in targets, but the fact he did next to nothing with them led to season lows in catches and receiving yards. Metcalf has had a handful of splash plays over the first half of the season and has two games of more than 90 receiving yards, but he's averaging a career-low 11.5 yards per reception and has just a single touchdown reception heading into the Week 9 bye.

Metcalf two of six targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Saints.
The Steelers' offense mostly flowed through its backfield, and Metcalf's 56 receiving yards actually led the team despite the fact that his two catches were a season low. The veteran wideout's target volume has been erratic this year, but he remains Aaron Rodgers' top downfield option. Metcalf will take a 32-374-1 line on 58 targets through seven games into a Week 8 clash with the Browns, who he produced a 5-115-0 line against in Week 4.

Steelers' DK Metcalf: Big volume in OT win
Metcalf caught 11 of 15 targets for 93 yards in Sunday's 26-19 overtime win over the Buccaneers.
The targets and catches were season highs for Metcalf, while the veteran WR came up just short of his second 100-yard performance in the last three weeks. Metcalf will take a 30-318-1 line on 52 targets into a Week 7 clash with the Saints in Paris.

The Steelers removed Metcalf (illness) from the injury report Saturday, and the veteran wide receiver will be available for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Metcalf popped up on Friday's injury report due to an illness and drew the questionable tag, but the eighth-year pro has been given the green light to play in Sunday's contest. He saw a season-low four targets in Week 5 against the Colts, but Metcalf and the other Steelers pass catchers would all be in a bump for more passes if Pat Freiermuth -- who was added to Saturday's injury report due to a calf injury -- is unable to play against Tampa Bay.

Metcalf is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after missing Friday's practice due to an illness.
Metcalf wasn't listed on the injury report Wednesday or Thursday, which suggests he started feeling sick Thursday evening or Friday morning. He'll have 48-plus hours to recover before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday, and the Steelers might want him active even if he isn't at full strength, given their myriad of injury problems at wide receiver. Roman Wilson (finger) and Ben Skowronek (calf) are out this week, leaving Germie Bernard and return specialist Kaden Wetjen as the only healthy WRs on the active roster. Metcalf caught three of four targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 34-22 win over the Colts.
The veteran wideout didn't make much impact as a pass catcher, but his blocking played a big role on a pair of long Jaylen Warren touchdowns. It was still a disappointing showing from Metcalf after he popped for a 5-115-0 line the week before, but he remains Aaron Rodgers' top downfield threat with a 19-225-1 line on 37 targets through five games. He'll likely be a feast or famine option once again in Week 6 against the Buccaneers.
