Jets' Joe Tippmann: Back on the field
Tippmann (knee) is getting reps with the second-team offense during Saturday's preseason game against the Giants, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Tippmann suffered a knee injury in the Jets' second preseason game against Denver and was supposed to miss at least a couple of weeks. However, it seems like the rookie center has made a tremendous recovery and is back on the field just one week later. The 2023 second-round pick will most likely serve a depth piece on New York's offensive line ahead of the coming season.

Tippman (knee) will miss at least a couple of weeks, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Tippman suffered the injury in Saturday's preseason contest against Tampa Bay. Despite the timeline, head coach Robert Saleh is optimistic the Wisconsin product will be available Week 1 against the Bills.

Tippmann left Saturday's game against the Buccaneers with a knee injury, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Tippmann's injury details are still unknown, so it's unclear how much time he could potentially miss. He'll now work to get healthy so he can practice with the team ahead of their season opener against the Bills.

Jets' Joe Tippmann: Lands in Big Apple
The Jets selected Tippman in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 43rd overall.
A center at Wisconsin, Tippman may be ticketed for a role at guard at the next level with Connor McGovern recently re-signing with the Jets. Tippman (6-foot-6) may be best suited at guard at that size anyhow. He was a two-year starter for the Badgers and should find his way onto the field in the interior of the Jets line before long.
