  • Chargers' Bradley Bozeman: Cleared to play vs. G-Men

Bozeman (back) is active for Sunday's game against the Giants, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Bozeman popped up on Wednesday's injury report due to a knee injury. He drew the questionable tag after logging back-to-back limited practices to close out the week, and he has done enough to be cleared to play Sunday. Bozeman will continue to serve as the Chargers' starting center while Andre James provides depth at the position.

  • Chargers' Bradley Bozeman: Starting spot unclear

Bozeman has been rotating between left guard and center with Zion Johnson every day at training camp, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Bozeman, who signed a two-year, $6.5 million deal with the Chargers this offseason, is firmly expected to start along the offensive line, but it's very much up in the air as to what spot he'll occupy come Week 1. The team seems intent on making the best use of Johnson, a 2022 first-round pick, meaning Bozeman could potentially slide into the final remaining opening along the offensive line.

  • Chargers' Bradley Bozeman: Moves west

Bozeman is signing a one-year contract with the Chargers on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Bozeman was released ahead of the new league year last Wednesday in a cost-savings move by the Panthers. The veteran offensive lineman started all 17 games at center for Carolina last season, but he also has experience playing left guard. He at least should provide quality depth on the Chargers offensive line, if not earn a starting job in 2024.

  • Bradley Bozeman: Set to be released

Bozeman is expected to be released by the Panthers on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Bozeman originally joined Carolina ahead of the 2022 season, and he re-signed with the team on a three-year, $18 million contract in March 2023. The 29-year-old's expected release date coincides with the beginning of the new league year, which also is when free agents are eligible to sign with new teams. Bozeman started 28 of his 34 appearances for the Panthers, and he started 16 games in each of the previous three campaigns in Baltimore.
