  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Returns to full participation Thursday

Pollard (foot) practiced without limitations Thursday.

It looks like Wednesday's missed practice was just a maintenance day for Pollard, who handled a season-high 21 touches in the Week 3 loss to the Giants after also sitting out practice the Wednesday preceding that game. Pollard continues to work ahead of Tyjae Spears (ankle), who was limited Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice. Barring a setback, Pollard is poised to head into Sunday's game at Baltimore without an injury designation.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Set to practice Thursday

Titans head coach Robert Saleh said that Pollard (foot) is expected to practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Pollard sat out Wednesday's practice due to the foot injury, but he may have been getting more of a maintenance day after handling a season-high 21 touches in this past Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Giants. Though it's unclear if he'll be a limited or full participant Thursday in his return to practice, Pollard looks on track to be ready to play this weekend against the Ravens.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Nursing foot issue

Pollard was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury.

Pollard appeared on the Titans' Week 3 injury report due to ankle issue, but he's tending to a different health concern in Week 4. Even so, head coach Robert Saleh told Turron Davenport of ESPN.com earlier Wednesday that he doesn't think the injury is anything that will affect Pollard's status for Sunday's game against the Ravens. Through the Titans' first three games, Pollard has yet to record a touchdown and has carried 38 times for 173 yards while adding six receptions for 22 yards on seven targets.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Won't practice Wednesday

Pollard (ankle) won't practice Wednesday, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

Coach Robert Saleh said neither Pollard nor Spears will practice Wednesday, but there's no concern about their availability for Sunday's game against Baltimore. Pollard rushed 17 times for 74 yards against the Giants last Sunday and added four catches for 22 yards on four targets. Playing in a bad Tennessee offense, Pollard doesn't have much of a fantasy ceiling.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Productive in loss to Giants

Pollard carried the ball 17 times for 74 yards and caught all four of his targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Giants.

The veteran back saw his biggest workload of the season as Tyjae Spears continues to deal with ankle trouble, and Pollard almost turned the volume into his first game with 100-plus scrimmage yards since Week 16 of 2025. Despite the struggles of the Titans' passing game, Pollard is averaging a strong 4.6 yards per carry, taking 38 totes for 173 yards, but he's still looking for his first TD of the year. If Spears is out or limited again in Week 4 against the Ravens, Pollard could see bell-cow usage, as Tennessee doesn't yet seem to trust rookie RB Nicholas Singleton.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Set to avoid injury tag

Pollard (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Giants after returning to a full practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Tyjae Spears, on the other hand, is listed as questionable due to an ankle injury of his own. Neither running back has been of much use to fantasy managers this season, but Pollard would at least get a significant projection boost if Spears were to land on the inactive list ahead of a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Will practice fully Friday

Pollard (ankle) will be a full participant in Friday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

With Pollard progressing from a non-participant Wednesday to limited Thursday and now full Friday, he'll likely be ready for Sunday's matchup with the Giants. Backfield mate Tyjae Spears (ankle) is expected to be a limited participant Friday, so he may be in a bit more danger of limitations or an absence this week.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Limited in return to practice

Pollard (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Both Pollard and Tyjae Spears sat out the Titans' first Week 3 practice Wednesday while tending to sore ankles, but the former was able to log some reps a day later, while the latter remained a non-participant. Pollard thus appears to be in a better spot on the health front of the two running backs, potentially setting him up to handle a workhorse role in Sunday's game against the Giants if Spears remains unable to practice Friday and gets ruled out heading into the weekend.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Returns to practice Thursday

Pollard (ankle) returned to practice Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

After sitting out Wednesday's session due to his ankle issue, Pollard's return is a positive sign for Tennessee's lead running back heading into Week 3 prep. Pollard's availability for Week 3 is particularly important, with Tyjae Spears (ankle) not present for the open portion of Thursday's practice. Friday's practice will tell the tale for Pollard's status going into the Titans' matchup with the Giants.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Managing ankle injury

Pollard was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury.

The Titans' top two running backs are both managing sore ankles to begin Week 3 prep, as Tyjae Spears was also sidelined for Wednesday's session. Head coach Robert Saleh didn't indicate that either back is at major risk of sitting out Sunday's game against the Giants, but Pollard will nonetheless need to upgrade to full practice participation by Friday to avoid taking an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Not practicing Wednesday

Titans head coach Robert Saleh said that Pollard won't practice Wednesday due to unspecified soreness, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Tyjae Spears is also dealing with soreness and will sit out Wednesday's session, but Saleh didn't provide any further specifics about either running back's injury. Pollard has served as Option 1A out of the Tennessee backfield through the team's first two games, producing a 21-99-0 rushing line while seeing limited involvement in the passing game (two catches for zero yards on three targets).

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Modest numbers in Sunday's loss

Pollard carried the ball 14 times for 64 yards and caught his only target for one yard in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Eagles.

The veteran RB had 15 touches to Tyjae Spears' nine, as Pollard continues to pace the Titans' backfield in volume. Spears amassed 70 scrimmage yards to Pollard's 65, however, as neither back has made much of a case in the early going to take over the clear lead role. Pollard will look for his first touchdown of the season in a Week 3 road tilt against the Giants.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Just eight touches in Week 1 loss

Pollard rushed seven times for 35 yards while catching one of two targets for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 23-10 loss to the Jets.

The Titans spent most of Sunday's season opener playing catch-up, so they didn't give Pollard many carries, but he averaged an efficient 5.0 yards per carry on his limited opportunities. Tyjae Spears turned three carries and four targets into 24 yards, as Tennessee's backfield pecking order remains unchanged from 2025, with Pollard getting most of the opportunities on the ground. Another negative game script could limit Pollard's volume again in Week 2 against the Eagles, though the Titans will try to get off to a stronger start to avoid that scenario.
