    Jones (knee) has been participating the Patriots' OTAs, Chris Mason of MassLive reports.

    Per the report, Jones, who suffered a bone bruise in his right knee back in December, got "a lot of run" at boundary cornerback as the Patriots held their first open session of the spring. The 25-year-old logged 30 tackles (25 solo) and two interceptions in 13 games last season and will now compete for playing time in what's become a crowded secondary.

  • Patriots' Jack Jones: Suspension lifted

    The Patriots ended the team-imposed suspension for Jones (knee) on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    Jones will now move from the reserve/suspended list back to IR following this suspension for a violation of team rules. The rookie cornerback is still recovering from a bone bruise in his left knee sustained Week 14. Jones will now look to get healthy again heading into the offseason after New England was eliminated from playoff contention following Sunday's 35-23 loss to Buffalo.

    The Patriots moved Jones (knee) from injured reserve to the reserve/suspended list Friday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

    Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Jones' suspension stems from a violation of team rules, while Mike Garafolo of NFL Network relays that the cornerback's agent suggests that the suspension "appears to be based on miscommunication regarding [Jones'] rehab process." Jones concludes the 2022 season 30 tackles, two interceptions, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble in 13 games.

    The Patriots placed Jones (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

    Jones suffered a bone bruise in his left knee Week 14 against the Cardinals and hasn't been able to play since. With his move to IR, he won't be able to play again this season unless New England makes the playoffs and advances to the AFC Championship Game. Jones finishes the regular season with 38 tackles (25 solo), a forced fumble and two interceptions -- including one he returned for a touchdown.
