Panthers' Nic Scourton: Looking good for Week 1
Scourton (chest) was not listed on the Panthers' injury report Wednesday.
Scourton recovered quickly after suffering a collapsed lung on Aug. 16, and it seems like he'll be available for Carolina in Week 1. He figures to play a rotational role on the edge in 2025, though his recent injury combined with the fact he's a rookie could keep his snap count low to start the year.

Panthers' Nic Scourton: Resumes practicing
Scourton (chest) returned to practice Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Scourton suffered a collapsed lung Aug. 16 and was considered week-to-week at the time. However, he returned to practice fairly quickly and received around 50 percent of the reps. While that's a positive sign for his Week 1 availability against Jacksonville, it will be worth monitoring his practice participation in the coming week.
