Rams' Darious Williams: Estimated to practice Wednesday
Williams (tibia) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Williams was unable to play in the Rams' Week 14 win over the Cardinals due to a tibia injury, but his estimated ability to practice in full in Wednesday's walkthrough puts him on track to return against the Lions on Sunday. Ahkello Witherspoon and Josh Wallace will likely see their defensive snaps cut, assuming Williams is cleared to play Week 15.

Williams (lower leg) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Williams was doubtful coming into the weekend after failing to practice all week, and his inactive status is now official. Despite head coach Sean McVay telling reporters Wednesday that he expects Williams to play in Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, he likely won't suit up. The UAB product has appeared in 10 games this season, recording 22 total tackles and eight passes defensed, including one interception. If Williams is sidelined as expected in Week 14, expect Ahkello Witherspoon to play a larger role in the Rams' secondary.

Williams (lower leg) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Barshop added that head coach Sean McVay expects Williams to play in this Sunday's game versus the Cardinals. As the Rams' starting boundary cornerback, Williams has produced 22 tackles (15 solo), eight pass breakups and an interception through 10 games.

Williams is still working his way back from the shoulder injury that he suffered in Week 7 against the Jaguars and has sidelined him since. The cornerback is trending toward returning to action Sunday against the 49ers, with head coach Sean McVay saying that "the hope and optimism" is that Williams will be active, per Cameron DaSilva of USA Today. Williams hasn't played since Week 7 due to a shoulder injury McVay called a "little setback," but it appears the starting cornerback is trending toward a Week 10 return. McVay said "the hope and optimism" is that Williams will suit up on the road against San Francisco on Sunday. With Ahkello Witherspoon (collarbone) on IR and not expected to return until at least December, Williams' return to the field will represent a notable boost for Los Angeles' defense.
