Top Seahawks News

  • Seahawks' George Holani: Limited to open week

Holani (ribs) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Holani rushed seven times for 18 yards in the Seahawks' Week 4 win over the Chargers. The running back played through a rib injury and looks to be on pace to do so again in Week 5. With limited practice in Thursday and Friday sessions, Holani will likely be free of any injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the 49ers. The 26-year-old should continue to play second fiddle to Emanuel Wilson in the contest.

  • Seahawks' Irvin Charles: Returns to practice

Charles (undisclosed) practiced Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Charles is on injured reserve, though he's seemingly inching closer to getting back on the field. The 29-year-old, who was acquired from the Jets during the offseason, is expected to spend most of his time on special teams upon his return.

  • Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Secures interception in victory

Thomas compiled five total tackles (four solo) and an interception in Sunday's 30-23 win against the Chargers.

Thomas recorded at least five takedowns for the fourth straight game to open the regular season, but he made his mark on Sunday's contest with his paws. The linebacker jumped in front of quarterback Justin Herbert's first pass of the contest, securing his first interception of the season. Thomas has now registered 30 total tackles (18 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also intercepting a pass over four contests this season.

  • Seahawks' Nick Emmanwori: Notches sack in win

Emmanwori registered nine total tackles (eight solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding a pass defensed during Sunday's 30-23 win over the Chargers.

Emmanwori played a season-high 79 percent of the team's defensive snaps, and his production increased as a result. The safety was able to get to quarterback Justin Herbert in the fourth quarter for his first sack of the season, and his nine takedowns was tied with cornerback Devin Witherspoon for second on the team. Emmanwori has been working his way back to full strength after suffering an ankle injury in February, and Sunday's performance suggests that he's feeling pretty good.

  • Seahawks' Ernest Jones: Masterful in win

Jones recorded 12 total tackles (six solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding an interception during Sunday's 30-23 win over the Chargers.

Jones was masterful in Week 4, leading the team in tackles in the victory. The linebacker was able to get to quarterback Justin Herbert for his first sack of the season in the second quarter before intercepting a pass from the QB later in the quarter. Jones has now compiled 41 total tackles (21 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also intercepting a pass over four contests to open the 2026 campaign.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: One catch in Week 4 win

Kupp caught one of two targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Chargers.

Kupp played 34 of 60 offensive snaps and ran 17 routes on Sam Darnold's 26 dropbacks. The veteran wide receiver has failed to reach 50 receiving yards in any of the first four games, totaling nine grabs for 114 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets. He's well off the fantasy radar with Jaxon Smith-Njigba dominating the looks in Seattle.

  • Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: No catches versus Chargers

Arroyo didn't record any catches during Seattle's win over the Chargers on Sunday.

Arroyo wasn't targeted once for the third time this season across four outings. The 2025 second-round pick will likely continue to see minimal offensive output as the team's third-string tight end behind AJ Barner and Eric Saubert.

  • Seahawks' George Holani: Totals 20 yards in Week 4 win

Holani rushed seven times for 18 yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Chargers. He added one catch for two yards on one target.

Even with Jadarian Price (chest) on injured reserve, Holani played a distant second fiddle to Emanuel Wilson, who rushed 21 times for 81 yards and a touchdown. Wilson also turned four targets into three catches for 30 yards and a second score. Holani has minimal fantasy value, especially with Zach Charbonnet (knee) due back in the near future.

  • Seahawks' Tory Horton: Catches first touchdown of 2026

Horton brought in his lone target for a six-yard touchdown during Sunday's 30-23 win over the Chargers.

Horton saw just one target from Sam Darnold in Sunday's game, but the second-year wideout answered the call by hauling in the pass for a six-yard touchdown early in the third quarter to extend Seattle's lead to 27-6. It was Horton's fifth touchdown catch of his young NFL career and first since his two-TD performance in Week 9 of the 2025 season, which was the last game of his rookie campaign due to shin and groin injuries. Horton is firmly entrenched as the Seahawks' WR4 on the roster behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed and Cooper Kupp, and Horton is also behind Shaheed as a returner on kickoffs and punts.

  • Seahawks' Robert Henry: Moving to Seattle

Henry was signed to the Seahawks' active roster Monday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

Henry has spent the entirety of the 2026 campaign on the practice squad with Washington so far, but he will now get a chance with Seattle's active roster. The running back will provide the team with an additional depth option behind Emanuel Wilson and George Holani while Zach Charbonnet (knee) works his way back from the PUP list and Jadarian Price (chest) is on injured reserve. Seattle also signed veteran Joe Mixon to the practice squad Monday, so there are many moving parts for the team at running back right now.

  • Seahawks' AJ Barner: One catch in victory

Barner caught one of three targets for 12 yards during Sunday's 30-23 win over the Chargers.

Barner wasn't particularly busy in Week 4, garnering three or fewer targets for the third time this season. The tight end remains an unappealing fantasy option as the Seahawks' passing attack funnels through Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and the rest of Seattle's pass-catchers are just reaching for crumbs.

  • Seahawks' Leonard Williams: Should play Week 5

Head coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that he expects Williams (ankle) to be available for this Sunday's NFC West showdown against the 49ers, Tim Booth of The Seattle Times reports.

Williams suffered an ankle injury during the Seahawks' 30-23 win over the Chargers in Week 4 and did not return, finishing the game with just one quarterback hit and zero tackles. His practice participation over the coming days will shed light on his status for Week 5, but if he cannot play or operates under a snap count, then Jarran Reed and Rylie Mills would both be in line for more defensive snaps against San Francisco.
