  • Jaguars' Travis Hunter: Scores on both sides of ball Sunday

Hunter caught all four of his targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Texans. He also recorded three tackles and an interception.

The two-way player is beginning to flash the talent that made him the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Hunter's receiving numbers were by far a season high -- he had only two catches coming into Sunday -- and his day on offense was capped by a seven-yard TD toss from Trevor Lawrence in the fourth quarter that brought the Jaguars to within a field goal at 31-28. Hunter then made an impact on the very next possession, picking off a C.J. Stroud pass in the end zone with just under four minutes left on the clock to keep his team in the game. The touchdown and interception were each the second of his career in his 13th NFL game, and Hunter became the first player since 2002 to have one of each in the same game. Jacksonville's WR room is crowded with Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas at the top of the depth chart, but coach Liam Coen hinted after the game that Hunter's role on offense could continue to grow on the other side of the team's Week 7 bye.

  • Jaguars' Travis Hunter: Notches second catch of season

Hunter recorded a nine-yard reception and tallied six tackles and a pass breakup in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Eagles in London.

After not getting any run on offense in the Jaguars' Week 4 win over the Bengals, Hunter ended up taking the field for six of 72 snaps in Week 5 and was able to come away with his second reception of the season. The two-way player continues to see the overwhelming amount of his playing time on defense, where he was on the field for all 62 snaps. Expect the Jaguars continue to use Hunter almost exclusively at cornerback while sprinkling him into the offensive game plan only occasionally.

  • Jaguars' Travis Hunter: Tallies four tackles in Week 4 win

Hunter logged four tackles (three solo) and two pass defenses during the Jaguars' 22-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday.

After snagging his first NFL interception against the Patriots in Week 3, Hunter demonstrated his defensive prowess in Week 4 with two pass defenses. Notably, for the first time this season, the 2025 second-overall pick did not play a single snap on offense. It appears the Jaguars are comfortable with rookie Josh Cameron serving as the depth wideout behind Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas, so Hunter's playing time figures to be limited to defense. Hunter has 13 tackles (nine solo) and four pass defenses (including one interception) through the first four games of the regular season.

  • Jaguars' Travis Hunter: Plays five offensive snaps in Week 3

Hunter played five offensive snaps in Sunday's 35-6 win over the Patriots.

He failed to see a target in the passing game for the second straight week and is clearly not in the team's plans on that side of the ball with everyone healthy at wideout. Hunter would likely need one or even two injuries ahead of him on the depth chart to see significant snaps on offense. On defense against New England, Hunter logged four tackles (three solo) and one pass breakup, including his first career regular-season interception.

  • Jaguars' Travis Hunter: Slight uptick in offensive snaps Week 2

Hunter played six offensive snaps but didn't record a target during the Jaguars' 20-13 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.

It was a slight increase from the four offensive snaps Hunter played in Week 1 against the Browns. The second-year pro mostly saw the field on defense Sunday, playing 37 of 62 defensive snaps (59.7 percent) and finishing with four solo tackles and a pass defense. Hunter's involvement on offense figures to be minimal, given the plethora of targets Trevor Lawrence has at his disposal in Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, Brian Thomas and Brenton Strange.

  • Jaguars' Travis Hunter: Plays four offensive snaps Week 1

Hunter played four offensive snaps in the Jaguars' 34-10 win over the Browns on Sunday.

On those four plays, Hunter recorded an eight-yard catch on one target and rushed for three yards on one carry. On defense, Hunter logged 29 snaps and totaled one solo tackle. It's become evident that the Jaguars have no plans to feature Hunter on offense unless the wide-receiver room is struck by a string of injuries. He can be left on the waiver wire in all redraft fantasy formats.
