A surprisingly wild Thursday night led to four top-15 teams losing road games -- specifically Purdue, Cincinnati, Ohio State and Saint Mary's. So they all dropped in Friday morning's updated CBS Sports Top 25 (and one). And SMC dropped completely out.

The Gaels, frankly, are one of college basketball's most difficult teams to assess because they play so few games against quality opponents. And their resume now features three sub-75 KenPom losses after falling 70-63 late Thursday to a San Francisco team that is A) ranked 144th at KenPom, and B) just 7-8 in the West Coast Conference. In other words, Saint Mary's doesn't have many good wins -- the Gaels only have two top-50 KenPom wins -- to help offset some really bad losses. So I replaced them with a team that has one more top-50 KenPom win and one less sub-75 loss.

That team is Houston.

The Cougars are on a four-game winning streak thanks to Thursday's 67-62 victory over Cincinnati that doubled as their second win over a team also ranked in the Top 25 (and one). They're 10-3 in the AAC and 25th in the updated Top 25 (and one) -- meaning there are now three AAC schools in these rankings.
