Top Vikings News

  • Vikings' Jordan Addison: Just four grabs in Week 4 win

Addison caught four of six targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 15-10 win over the Dolphins. He added minus-1 yard on his only carry.

With Justin Jefferson (ankle) out of commission, Addison was expected to step up as Kyler Murray's top downfield option. Instead, it was tight end T.J. Hockenson who emerged as the veteran QB's favorite target, posting a 13-119-0 line. Jefferson may not be sidelined for long, and with Hockenson now building chemistry with Murray, there may not be much volume left over for Addison in a lackluster passing attack. He'll look to make a bigger impact in a Week 5 road trip to New Orleans.

  • Vikings' Kyler Murray: Fails to produce TD in win over Miami

Murray completed 27 of 37 passes for 247 yards while adding 16 rushing yards on six carries in Sunday's 15-10 win over the Dolphins.

All of Minnesota's points came from the boot of Will Reichard, as Murray failed to lead the team into the end zone but also avoided committing any turnovers. With the defense playing at a high level, the veteran QB has been able to get away with a lack of production, but a 1:2 TD:INT through two-plus starts and little additional yardage on the ground may lead to some job security issues with Carson Wentz having proven he can run the offense effectively while Murray was sidelined with a concussion. The former Cardinal will try to find a rhythm during a Week 5 road trip to New Orleans.

  • Vikings' T.J. Hockenson: Big day in Week 4 win

Hockenson caught all 13 of his targets for 119 yards in Sunday's 15-10 win over the Dolphins.

The veteran tight end emerged as Kyler Murray's favorite target in the absence of Justin Jefferson (ankle), and as a result Hockenson produced his first game with 100-plus yards since 2024, when he popped for a 7-114-0 line against the Bears in Week 12. Hockenson came into Sunday with just 76 receiving yards, so he could have trouble repeating the performance even if Jefferson misses another game, but Murray had success feeding the ball to Trey McBride last year with Arizona as well -- McBride posted a 29-275-1 line on 42 targets during the five games they were in the lineup together. Hockenson will look to keep rolling in a Week 5 road trip to New Orleans.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Converts five field goals in win

Reichard went 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts during Sunday's 15-10 win over the Dolphins.

Reichard provided all of the offense for Minnesota in Week 4. The kicker made field goals of 47, 50 and 33 yards in the first half before later adding 41-yarder in the third quarter and a 29-yard make in the fourth quarter. Reichard has been perfect this season, going 12-for-12 on field-goal tries, including four makes from 50-plus yards, while converting all six of his PATs over four contests so far.

  • Vikings' Aaron Jones: Tops century mark in win over Fish

Jones carried the ball 20 times for 94 yards and caught four of eight targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 15-10 win over the Dolphins.

The Vikings' offense failed to produce a touchdown, but Jones got them into regular field-goal position as he set a new season high in scrimmage yards. The veteran RB has held up under a bell cow workload while Jordan Mason (thumb) has been sidelined, averaging 23.0 touches over the last three weeks while still producing 4.3 yards per carry. Jones hasn't gotten into the end zone during that stretch, however, something he'll try to rectify in a Week 5 road trip to New Orleans.

  • Vikings' Christian Darrisaw: Exits again Sunday

Darrisaw (head) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against Miami.

Darrisaw departed earlier in the contest because of a neck injury. While he managed to return, his availability for the remainder of Sunday's game is once again in jeopardy due to a possible concussion. With Darrisaw off the field, Ryan Van Demark should see more snaps.

  • Vikings' Christian Darrisaw: Back in action

Darrisaw (neck) has returned to Sunday's matchup with Miami, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Darrisaw was sidelined with a neck injury heading into halftime, but he has now returned to action. The 27-year-old is back in his starting role at left tackle against the Dolphins.

  • Vikings' Christian Darrisaw: Exits Sunday's game

Darrisaw (neck) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against Miami.

Darrisaw managed to walk off the field, though it's unknown if he will return Sunday. If not, Ryan Van Demark could be looking at more snaps.

  • Vikings' Donovan Jackson: Done for day

Jackson (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's contest against the Dolphins.

Jackson suffered a knee injury early in the first half, and he will now be forced to miss the remainder of Week 4. In his absence, Joe Huber has taken over at left guard versus Miami.

  • Vikings' T.J. Hockenson: Jefferson injury opens opportunity

Hockenson could be in line for an increase in targets during Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Dolphins due to Justin Jefferson being ruled inactive for the contest.

Hockenson's 2026 campaign has gotten off to a reasonably productive start, as the veteran tight end has posted a 9-76-1 line on 13 targets through three games. While Hockenson didn't reap any tangible benefit from Jefferson's early exit during the Week 3 win over the Buccaneers -- the former recorded two receptions for 11 yards on four targets -- there's a possibility he's a lot more involved against a Dolphins team that's surrendered 15 receptions for 210 yards and two touchdowns to tight ends, along with an 88.2 percent catch rate.

  • Vikings' Jauan Jennings: Opportunity boost likely Sunday

Jennings is in line to see a boost in targets as the Vikings' No. 2 receiver for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Dolphins, due to Justin Jefferson (hamstring) being ruled inactive for the contest.

Jennings' Vikings tenure has gotten off to an utterly forgettable start, as the veteran receiver has just one reception for one yard on three targets through two games. While Jennings was unable to capitalize on Jefferson's early exit from a Week 3 win over the Buccaneers, the former did log a season-high 47 snaps and ran 24 routes during the contest. Both numbers -- along with Jennings' target share -- will be in line to increase against Miami with Jefferson out, although the possibility Minnesota eventually has the luxury of turning to a run-heavy approach in the second half is also high considering the generally uncompetitive current state of the Dolphins.

  • Vikings' Max Brosmer: Will be emergency QB3 for Week 4

Brosmer (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Vikings' emergency third quarterback against the Dolphins on Sunday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.

Brosmer was signed to the 53-man roster Tuesday after the Vikings traded J.J. McCarthy to the Giants a day earlier. As the emergency third quarterback, Brosmer is not allowed to play Sunday unless both Kyler Murray and Carson Wentz are taken out of the game due to injury, illness or ejection.
