Titans' Cam Ward: May have Grade 3 sprain
Ward (shoulder) is believed to have a Grade 3 AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, Jeff Howe of The Athletic reports.
Ward could face a multi-month recovery process if the diagnosis of a Grade 3 sprain is confirmed by further tests. The first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft was injured in the first quarter of the Titans' 41-7 loss to the Jaguars in Sunday's regular-season finale and had his right shoulder in a sling after the game. Further clarification on Ward's recovery timeline will come after he undergoes additional testing on the injury.

Titans' Cam Ward: Sling on right shoulder
Ward was spotted with a sling for his right shoulder during the Titans' 41-7 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Ward injured his right shoulder in the first quarter after diving into the end zone for a seven-yard rushing touchdown. After being ruled out for the rest of the game by medical staff, Ward returned to the sidelines without his pads and a sling on his right shoulder. The No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft will undergo further tests to determine the severity of the injury, but he will have plenty of time to recover before the start of the 2026 campaign. Ward will end his rookie season having completed 59.8 percent of his passes for 3,169 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions while adding 39 carries for 159 yards and two scores across 17 games.

Titans' Cam Ward: Injures shoulder Sunday
Ward suffered a right shoulder injury during Sunday's game at Jacksonville, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
Ward led a five-play, 58-yard scoring march that he capped off with a seven-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter, but he then was examined on the sideline before going to the locker room, from which the Titans deemed him questionable to return. Brandon Allen will lead Tennessee's offense for as long as Ward is off the field.

Titans' Cam Ward: Solid numbers in loss
Ward completed 21 of 40 passes for 251 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions while rushing twice for 10 yards in the Titans' 34-26 loss to the Saints on Sunday. He also committed two fumbles, losing one.
Ward and the Titans came out on the losing end yet again, but the rookie first overall pick crossed the 250-yard mark through the air for the fifth time in his nascent career while also throwing a pair of touchdown passes for the fourth straight contest. Ward has thrown just a single interception in that span and none in the last three games, although his late first-half fumble Sunday was returned 33 yards for a touchdown by Chase Young. Ward's scoring strikes went to Chig Okonkwo (43 yards) and Elic Ayomanor (seven yards) in the second quarter, and he'll aim to keep his connection with his two talented targets going in a Week 18 road matchup against the Jaguars.
