Jets' Haason Reddick: Absent from camp
The Jets placed Reddick on the reserve/did not report report list Thursday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
This move comes as no surprise, as Reddick was expected to hold out of training camp in search of a new contract, just as he did during the Jets' OTAs. The 2017 first-round pick was traded from the Eagles to the Jets earlier this offseason in hopes of replacing Bryce Huff, who left in free agency. Reddick has tallied double-digit sacks in each of his last four seasons, so the Jets could be down a vital piece of their defense if he continues holding out.

Jets' Haason Reddick: Not reporting to camp
Reddick won't report for the start of training camp as he seeks a new contract, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.
Traded from Philadelphia to the Jets this spring, Reddick didn't attend OTAs or minicamp with his new team. He's due $14.5 million in the final season of his contract, following four consecutive years with at least 11 sacks. There's a mandatory $50,000 fine for each day of training camp he misses, which means he could report at some point even if negotiations don't progress the way he's hoping. The Jets reportedly thought Reddick was content to play out the final year of his contract at the time they traded for him; it's unclear if there was a miscommunication, or he simply changed his mind.

Jets' Haason Reddick: Not attending minicamp
Reddick is not present for Tuesday's practice, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Reddick, who joined the Jets via trade from the Eagles back in March, hasn't attended spring practices with New York as he seeks a new contract. The veteran edge rusher has put together four straight seasons with double-digit sacks, but with only one more year now remaining on his deal, Reddick is looking for an extension. The Jets could be more amendable to keeping Reddick around on a long-term deal after having let Bryce Huff walk in free agency. Per Connor Hughes of SNY.tv, Reddick's current absence goes against previous indications that he would attend his new team's offseason program.
