  • Patriots' Jabrill Peppers: Most solo tackles in win

Peppers had seven tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 15-10 win over the Jets.

Peppers played a pivotal role for the Patriots' secondary in limiting Zach Wilson to just 157 yards on 18 of 36 passing. Peppers is on pace to surpass the 60 tackles he had last season and will continue to be a key piece for the Patriots' pass defense as they go on the road in Week 4 to take on the Cowboys.

  • Patriots' Jabrill Peppers: Six tackles in loss

Peppers recorded six tackles (three solo), a forced fumble and a pass deflection in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Eagles.

Peppers was very active in Week 1, finishing tied for third on the team in tackles while also forcing Jalen Hurts to fumble in the fourth quarter, which was recovered by teammate Marcus Jones. • Patriots' Jabrill Peppers: Back for minicamp

Peppers (ankle) was spotted working with the starting defense during 11-on-11 drills and returning punts Monday during New England's mandatory minicamp, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.

The 2017 first-round pick injured his ankle in the Patriots' 2022 season finale, but has since had the offseason to move past the issue. Peppers has spent time with the Browns, Giants and Patriots, totaling 393 tackles, 25 passes defended and four interceptions in his six-year NFL career. With the retirement of Devin McCourty, Peppers will most likely get a chance to start at safety in New England after playing a depth role last season.

  • Patriots' Jabrill Peppers: Staying in New England

Peppers (ankle) is set to re-sign with the Patriots on a two-year deal, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

After spending his first five seasons with the Browns and Giants, Peppers found a new home in New England this past year. He was a reliable member of the team as a depth safety and core special teamer. The 27-year-old suited up for all 17 games and recorded 49 tackles (26 solo). Barring any more moves in free agency and the draft, he projects to start at free safety entering the 2023 season.

  • Patriots' Jabrill Peppers: Questionable to return

Peppers is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bills with an ankle injury.

Peppers sustained an ankle injury on Buffalo's second kickoff return of the first quarter, according to Zack Cox of NESN.com. The 27-year-old has been a fixture on special teams while also playing a consistent rotational role in New England's secondary this season. With Peppers sidelined for the time being, expect Adrian Phillips to play an increased role alongside starting safeties Kyle Dugger and Devin McCourty.
