College basketball rankings: Gonzaga sits alone at top of Coaches Poll after sharing No. 1 spot with Auburn
After a week as the co-No. 1 in the Coaches Poll the Tigers slipped to No. 2 and the Zags are No. 1 by themselves

Following two more victories of 30-plus point margins, Gonzaga reclaimed the top spot in the Coaches Poll on Monday after sharing the honor with Auburn last week. The Zags (19-2, 8-0 WCC) received 18 first-place votes while Auburn (22-1, 10-0 SEC) received 14. The Tigers retained the top spot in the AP Top 25 after struggling to get past lowly Georgia on Saturday.
Gonzaga crushed BYU 90-57 on Saturday night, beat San Diego 92-62 on Thursday and has won seven of its eight games in WCC play by 25 or more points. The Coaches Poll voters also bumped Kentucky up from No. 7 to No. 4, while the Wildcats held steady at No. 5 in the AP poll. Arizona, meanwhile, held firm at No. 5 despite knocking off the Pac-12's only other ranked teams last week in USC and and UCLA.
The Bruins fell eight spots to No. 12 in the Coaches Poll while USC fell two spots to No. 21. Kansas climbed two spots to No. 8, swapping with Baylor after the Jayhawks crushed the No. 10 Bears on Saturday.
No. 22 Saint Mary's, No. 24 Murray State and No. 25 Wake Forest each entered the poll for the first time. The Demon Deacons improved to 19-5 (9-4 ACC) with wins over Pittsburgh and NC State last week to finally give the ACC a second ranked team alongside Duke at No. 6. However, the ACC remains a one-team league in the AP poll.
