CBSSports.com 2013 Preseason College Football All-America Team
One again the SEC leads the way in the 2013 preseason college football All-America Team voted on by staff, writers and bloggers from CBSSports.com.
Below is the 2013 preseason college football All-America Team voted on by a CBSSports.com panel of college football experts and staff.
Alabama has the most players on the first team with four, including wide receiver Amari Cooper. The sophomore wide receiver was one of six players to be voted to the team unanimously. The others were WR Marqise Lee, OT Taylor Lewan, OG David Yankey, DE Jadeveon Clowney and DT Louis Nix.
The SEC had the most players overall with eight, while the Pac-12 was second with six.
The preseason All-America team is the first of several player-focused initiatives CBSSports.com will feature in 2013, including player of the week honors (first announcement: Tuesday, Sept. 3), regular Heisman rankings and updates, and a postseason All-America team to be revealed in mid-December.
