Not really sure why the Reds are even home dogs as the Pirates still obviously can't hit the ball whatsoever and it's not Paul Skenes tonight but rookie Bubba Chandler. He's a touted prospect but had a 4.01 ERA in 31.1 innings last year and not great this spring with a 6.55 ERA in 11.0 innings. Cincy's Brandon Williamson hasn't pitched in the majors since 2024 but was lights out this spring with a 1.65 ERA in 16.1 innings to earn a rotation spot.

The New Jersey Devils still have an outside shot at making the playoffs. Until they are officially eliminated, New Jersey remains a team I want to back. The Devils are 2-0 against the Rangers this season, outscoring them 12-6 and outshooting them 74-38 across both games. New Jersey ranks 14th in shots against and has a +178 shot differential, while the Rangers are ranked 26th with a -294 shot differential. New Jersey ranks 16th in scoring chances, compared to the Rangers at 26th. MSG has been a nightmare for New York, as the team has posted a dismal 11-25 home record. New York is coming off a win against the Panthers, but teams are just 26-40 after facing the defending back-to-back champions.

Analysis

Soriano was great in his first outing against the Astros while Jameson Tallion had an awful spring training (although he was solid in the WBC versus Panama). The weather is going to limit runs all around and Soriano's great start along with his knack for producing ground balls should keep the scoring low on the Cubs side. The Angels have been putting up runs through five games and I think they can scratch out some runs against Tallion in the first five. You can take the F5 ML at a plus number if you don't want to lay the juice. Notable that DK has this bet at -125.

Analysis

DraftKings. While Alperen Sengun has put together some solid performances of late, it’s largely come in softer matchups for the Rockets big man. Tonight shouldn’t be one of those, as the Knicks have allowed the fewest combined points rebounds and assists to opposing centers, both over the course of the season and over the last 15 games. The Rockets running bigger lineups make it easier for the Knicks to play Mitchell Robinson more minutes - the Knicks backup center and defensive dynamo has been eating into Karl-Anthony Towns’ playing time as is. Sengun is under this line in 12/19 games against teams in the top 10 of allowing centers the fewest combined PRA, including 10 of the last 11. I’d bet this to under 32.5.

In one of the games that he didn’t, he just missed with seven boards. A key to his gaudy rebounding stats is that he played 39 minutes a night during that span. The last time he faced the Knicks, he grabbed 10 rebounds over 40 minutes. With the expectation that he plays a lot again Tuesday, the over is the way to go here.
